WhatsApp has started rolling out its first beta feature for 2022 for iOS users.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, which specializes in beta company updates.

The report stated that with the new feature, iPhone users will be able to see the sender's profile pictures as well as message notifications.

According to the image shared with the report, the new feature will allow you to see small images of the sender in the notification when you receive a new message from a user or messaging group.

The report also reveals that the feature is only available to a small number of beta testers running iOS 15 because the feature uses features that Apple made available in its new iOS 15 update.

The report says that WhatsApp, owned by Meta, will release the feature to more users with upcoming updates.

Since the feature is still in beta, which may prevent WhatsApp from rolling out the feature is the possibility of problems displaying profile pictures on specific notifications for some phones, but it is likely that these issues will be resolved when the feature is released to the public.

WhatsApp last week also started rolling out a beta update 2.22.1.1 for iOS users.

The update is supposed to include a new feature that will allow users to create communities in future updates.

Similar software was also discovered in a beta update released two weeks ago for Android smartphones.

For those who don't know this, WhatsApp has been working on a community feature for a while now.
