"To allow a unit of the Armenian Armed Forces, included in the peacekeeping contingent of the CSTO countries, to participate in peacekeeping activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization," RIA Novosti quoted the Cabinet of Ministers as saying.
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia was instructed to ensure the dispatch of the unit to Kazakhstan.
Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization decided to send collective peacekeeping forces to Kazakhstan for a limited period.
