Saudi Arabia .. Preventing children from entering the Prophet’s Mosque and its squares

The Agency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque decided to prevent children from entering the Prophet’s Mosque and its courtyards, and wrote on its Twitter account: “To preserve your safety and within the precautionary measures .. it is forbidden for children to enter the Prophet’s Mosque and its squares.”

The Agency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque also decided to open the roof of the mosque for Maghrib and Isha prayers, in order to increase the capacity of the Prophet’s Mosque while applying precautionary measures, according to the agency’s official account on the social networking site “Twitter”.

And the Prophet’s Mosque Affairs Agency broadcast a video of prayer in the Prophet’s Mosque while adhering to distance and precautionary measures, and wrote on it: “The worshipers in the Prophet’s Mosque are committed to applying physical distancing and adhering to precautionary and preventive measures.”

And the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah issued a decision, last Tuesday, canceling the repetition of Umrah and the possibility of reserving a new permit immediately after the completion of the previous permit.

Saudi Arabia attributed the reason for the amendment in determining the permissible period for repeating Umrah to the precautionary measures that were re-applied in the Two Holy Mosques and the Kingdom, according to the accelerated increase in Corona injuries in Saudi Arabia, according to a statement by the Saudi Ministry of Health.

The Saudi Interior confirmed that the re-imposition of commitment to the precautionary measures, the wearing of a muzzle, and social distancing, comes from the Kingdom's keenness to protect the health of citizens, residents and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques and to preserve their safety after the increasing rates of the spread of the Corona virus in Saudi Arabia.
