The Sudanese Oud House Orchestra was a guest at Expo 2020 Dubai, where it presented its traditional Sudanese melodies on the Jubilee podium for the first time outside Sudan since its launch in January 2020, and 50 male and female musicians represented Sudan with its authenticity, and conveyed the spirit of the ancient city of Khartoum to the heart Visitors to the mega international event.

Visitors to the Jubilee Park enjoyed listening to a distinguished group of oriental melodies with distinction, as the orchestra played many diverse pieces, as the concert began with a Sudanese instrumental entitled “Sudanese Mambo” composed by Sayed Khalifa, followed by the “Mural of Life” composed by the musician Naseer Shamma, and others from Fabulous music tracks.

The Jubilee stage welcomed the Sudanese folk music group "Voices of the City", whose folk music that carries their pride and pride in the State of Sudan resonated in the atmosphere of the Jubilee Park while presenting a distinguished group of their most beautiful national songs.

The band members performed a group of songs characterized by their blending of the most popular Sudanese musical tones of the 20th century, with international “pop” music. Their expressive songs, which included songs from the albums “Laghat Al-Shari’a” and “Khashab”.
