"A large-scale campaign has been launched on the Internet to promote inaccurate information about the deadly danger of vaccines against a new coronavirus infection, about the imminent extinction of the vaccinated population of the planet, chipping of people, and so on," the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office quoted TASS as saying.

The ministry also noted the active work of Internet services and Telegram channels offering to purchase fake vaccination certificates and PCR test results.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a press conference that more than 200 criminal cases have been initiated in Russia for counterfeiting coronavirus vaccination certificates.
