$ 150,000 is what Spencer Elden demanded from the photographer, each of the surviving members of Nirvana as well as the widow of singer Kurt Cobain who committed suicide at the age of 27.

At the time of filing a complaint last August, Spencer Elden, now 30, explained that the photo was "

child pornography

" and that the presence of the money made him appear to be a "

sex worker

 ". created in him "

extreme and permanent emotional distress with physical effects

 ".

He also explained that neither he nor his parents had ever given permission for the use of the photo and that he had never received compensation.

Proud to be a “Baby Nirvana”?

An argument that did not please the members of the group and the photographer.

In a note, they recall that "

Elden has spent three decades enjoying his fame as the self-proclaimed 'baby Nirvana'

", that he remade the photo in exchange for remunerations on numerous occasions, that he himself. has the album title tattooed on his chest and has autographed copies of the cover for auction on the internet.

Importantly, they explain that the statute of limitations for the complaint had been exceeded for more than ten years.

An argument that won the judge's decision.
