• Lives France's most famous twins die six days apart

France is shocked.

The country's most famous twins

,

Grichka and Igor Bogdanoff,

72, have died of coronavirus five days apart at the Georges Pompidou hospital in Paris. The first was on December 29 and the second on January 3. Both, anti-vaccines, became tremendously popular when they presented the

Temps X

program

(1979-1985) that

mixed science fiction with

established

scientific theories

that captured the attention of young people due to its

informative nature

, but their work garnered numerous negative criticisms among the establishment academic.

Despite the fact that Igor had a DEA in Semiology and a doctorate in

Theoretical Physics

and

Grichka had a degree in political science and a doctorate in mathematics,

the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), considered the most important French body on scientific issues, considered that

the twins' writings were plagued with contradictions,

nonsense, misunderstandings, and overt confusion, and were therefore not considered rigorous scientific texts.

The origin of the brothers seems to come from the works of Tolstoy and Asimov.

His parents were the Russian painter Yuri Mikhailovich Ostasenko-Bogdanov and the Austrian Countess Maria Maya Kolowrat-Krakowská, whose ancestors date back to the 13th century in the Bohemian region.

The children were raised in the castle of southwestern France by their maternal grandmother,

Countess Bertha Kolowrat-Krakowská

, who was married to one of the members of the Von Colloredo-Mannsfeld princely family.

However, it is known that she

had a relationship with the African-American composer and tenor Roland Hayes

, the twins' grandfather.

On the father's side, they descend from a

17th century Muslim Tatar noble family

converted to Orthodox Christianity whose first-born males held the title of princes Bogdanoff granted by Tsar Fyodor III.

However, the title fell into disuse at the end of the 19th century.

Historians do not agree if the title really existed or belonged to them as the Dictionary of Russian Nobility states that there is no link and Russian genealogical dictionaries could confirm that the Prince of Georgia Irakli Bagration-Mukhraneli recognized the

dynastic rights of the Bogdanoffs.

The twins changed their surname to Bogdanov.

Grichka never married or had children, but

Igor did so three times and had six children.

His wives were

Genevieve Grad

(one son), Countess

Ludmilla d'Oultremont

(three children) and

Amelia de Borbón-Parma

(two children), daughter of Miguel de Borbón-Parma (last husband of Maria Pia de Saboya), descendant of Carlos V and Luis XVII.

Cousin of King Felipe, she

is a historian and usually spends seasons in Sotogrande (Cádiz).

The Bogdanovs also became wildly popular for their addiction to

cosmetic surgery

operations

, which resulted in severe facial deformities.

Despite the evidence, they always denied having retouched.
