It was at the beginning of December that the cargo ship Almirante Storni was hit by fire just outside the port of Gothenburg.

Despite extensive extinguishing work at sea, the fire could not be extinguished until the ship was transported ashore.

But there are still large amounts of wood left on the ship.

On Sunday, the ship went to Lysekil, where it has since been planned how to unload the goods.

The work is expected to take a couple of weeks and, among other things, a completely new place is being prepared to be able to store the goods.

The mentioned ship has aroused the interest of the people of Lysekil and several have turned past the harbor to take a closer look.

- It's fun to see how they do because I worked in the port before, says Lembit Maisa.
