The lifeless body of the woman who disappeared a month ago in Oroso (A Coruña) was found this Monday in the Tambre river in an
area of difficult access
as it passes through the parish of Portomeiro, in Val do Dubra (A Coruña).
As reported by the Galician Emergency Agency, AXEGA, the body found belongs to
María Asunción Cardama Furelos,
the 63-year-old woman who had been missing since December 5 in the town of Sigüeiro, in the Coruña municipality of Oroso.
The Civil Guard was aware of the disappearance of the woman at 12.25 am on December 5, at dawn from Saturday to Sunday, after which a tracking operation was activated.
This same Monday, AXEGA has confirmed that police sources have identified the lifeless body belonging to this woman.
The police are working to clarify the circumstances of the event.
