To celebrate that Mälardalen University has become Mälardalen University, flags with the university's new logo have been hoisted outside the main entrances in Eskilstuna and Västerås.
- It feels like a historic day, it warms up a bit, says Anna Ulriksson Biderman, project manager for brand development at MDU, who was present during the flag raising.
The name change takes place successively
MDU will gradually replace the old logo in all places where it is today.
- We have replaced the logo on the website and the social channels, but this is the first time it is displayed physically, says Anna Ulriksson Biderman.
The large sign above the main entrance will be replaced with a temporary one in a couple of weeks and will be replaced permanently in March, according to the preliminary plan.
