Virginia Giuffre has accused Prince Andrew of repeatedly sexually abusing her as a teenager.
On Tuesday, the royal family will be questioned about these accusations.
In connection with the hearing, earlier secret documents were released on Monday, reports the BBC.
The sexual assaults on Giuffre are said to have been made possible through businessman Jeffrey Epstein.
He has been accused of sexually abusing several teenage girls, and has also let other men do the same.
Agreement for SEK 4.8 million
The documents that became public on Monday show that Jeffrey Epstein must have signed an agreement with Giuffrey in 2009. For SEK 4.8 million, she must have agreed to drop her accusations against the businessman.
Prince Andrew's defense lawyers believe that the agreement means that Giuffre can not sue the prince, as with the agreement she has denied the opportunity to legally try crimes that can be linked to Epstein.
Giuffre's lawyers, for their part, believe that the agreement reached in Florida does not matter for the abuses she claims to have endured in New York, London and the Virgin Islands.
The girlfriend convicted of several cases of sexual offenses
When the confidentiality agreement from 2009 was concluded, Giuffre's lawyers said that as a teenager she was lured into a world of sexual abuse.
During this time, lawyers say Giuffre "in addition to being constantly exploited to satisfy the defendant's sexual desires, was also required to be sexually exploited by the defendant's adult male comrades, including royalty, politicians, academics, businessmen and or other professional and personal acquaintances."
Jeffrey Epstein was investigated for sexual abuse of several young girls when he took his own life in prison in 2019.
Ghislaine Maxwell was Epstein's girlfriend when the abuse allegedly took place.
She was convicted on Dec. 29 of several counts of sexual offenses against children after helping Epstein recruit teenage girls.
She is now risking decades in prison.
