At daybreak, the thermometer will display 3 to 7 degrees in the north-eastern quarter and the southern half of the country, up to locally 0/2 in the Tarn, Haute-Garonne and the Massif Central.

It will be 7 to 11 degrees elsewhere, up to 12/13 on the beaches of Aquitaine.

The maximum will rise to 11/15 degrees, up to 16/20 south of the Garonne.
