A fifth succumbed to his injuries today, after also being shot.

International outrage

This violence, but also the attacks on the media - aroused the indignation of Europeans, but also of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who said he was "

 deeply troubled

".

Two journalists from Saudi television Asharq who filmed Thursday's mobilization were released on Friday afternoon.

Deeply troubled by reports that Sudanese security forces used lethal force against protesters, blacked out the internet, and attempted to shutdown media outlets.
