“Russia handed over humanitarian aid to Cuba, including medical protective suits and injection syringes, with a total weight of almost 22 tons. The aid was sent by the Russian government,” TASS reports, citing the Russian diplomatic mission.
In November, Russian Emergencies Minister Alexander Chupriyan held a working meeting with Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas.
The parties discussed issues of interaction between the two states in the field of prevention and elimination of emergencies.
The delegations also considered the possibilities of developing the Regional Russian-Cuban center for training fire and rescue specialists.
