As RIA Novosti reports with reference to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, at the time of the arrival of the firefighters, the casing of the house was on fire from the sixth to the eighth floor.
“According to operational information, the fire could have started due to the use of pyrotechnic products,” the publication says.
EMERCOM employees evacuated 52 people from the house, another 20 left the burning building on their own.
A temporary accommodation center was set up at the school nearby.
The fire was extinguished.
The governor of the US state of Colorado previously declared a state of emergency in connection with wildfires.
