Not suitable for use
In total, around a million tests were analyzed, of which about 300,000 were intervened due to
deficiencies in the
documentary
procedures
or because they lacked authorization for their distribution, so they could not be considered
suitable for use
.
Due to these facts, a sanctioning administrative file was opened, although numerous documentation is pending analysis in case, in addition, they could have committed
a crime against public health.
The Madrid Minister of Health, Enrique Ruiz Escudero, has congratulated the National Police for their action, stating that it is "good news", and recalled that
false items have been seized in other times
when there was a high demand for masks or antibody test.
Ruiz Escudero has also stressed that it is necessary to be rigorous with the antigen tests that are distributed to the population so that they have
the sensitivity and specificity they need
to be considered as a diagnostic test.
