The alarm about the accident came to the rescue service at 18:30 on Wednesday night.
A car had driven into the center railing south of Katrineholm, near the county border.
According to the rescue service, the two people traveling in the car were awake and talkable.
They had gotten out of the car on their own.
The road was closed in both directions in connection with the rescue work and was open to traffic again shortly after 7 p.m.
