China News Service, December 29th. The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council held a regular press conference on the 29th. Spokesperson Ma Xiaoguang pointed out that as of now, Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Group has been supplying Fubitai vaccine in Taiwan, and a total of 14 batches have been delivered. 12.4 million doses, the 15th batch will arrive in Taiwan at the end of December 930,000 doses, by then a total of 13.33 million doses will arrive on the island this year.

At the meeting, reporters asked questions about how to prevent the epidemic since the outbreak of the new crown.

Could the spokesperson introduce the situation of the mainland in assisting Taiwan compatriots in responding to the epidemic, including how many Fubital vaccines have been provided to Taiwan so far?

Ma Xiaoguang responded that we attach great importance to the lives, health and well-being of Taiwan compatriots.

Since the outbreak on the island, the mainland has promptly activated the emergency notification mechanism for public health emergencies across the strait. Since January 3, 2020, the Taiwan CDC has notified Taiwan’s disease control department through the channel of the cross-strait medical and health cooperation agreement to report the mainland epidemic information to a total of 324 times. , Shared 55 pieces of technical data on the prevention and treatment of new coronary pneumonia 16 times, and agreed with Taiwanese health experts to participate in more than 20 technical meetings of the World Health Organization.

At the same time, orderly arrangements have been made for the vaccination of Taiwan compatriots living on the mainland.

According to incomplete statistics, as of December 15 this year, 177,000 Taiwanese compatriots in mainland China have been vaccinated, and the cumulative vaccination is about 350,000 doses.

Ma Xiaoguang pointed out that after a new round of the new crown epidemic broke out in Taiwan in May this year, we have repeatedly expressed our willingness to do our utmost to help Taiwan compatriots cope with the epidemic and actively promote the provision of vaccines to the people on the island.

This includes providing Taiwanese compatriots with vaccines from mainland China recognized by the World Health Organization, and supporting Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Group's participation in the research and development and exclusive agency of BNT vaccines to serve Taiwanese people. Relevant private organizations in Shanghai and Jiangsu also expressed their willingness to donate a batch of vaccines to Taiwan compatriots.

Actively consider sending epidemic prevention and control experts to the island, sharing anti-epidemic experience and providing epidemic prevention consultations, etc.

However, out of political self-interest, the DPP authorities not only turned a blind eye to the goodwill of the mainland, they even maliciously slandered the mainland vaccine and brutally blocked the mainland's vaccine from entering the island for use by Taiwan compatriots.

Ma Xiaoguang mentioned that with the raging epidemic in Taiwan, the severe shortage of vaccines, and the people in Taiwan are eager to get vaccinated, we have made proper arrangements for the vaccinations of Taiwan compatriots coming to the mainland on civil airline passenger flights in accordance with relevant policies.

After various efforts, the first batch of Fubitai vaccine supplied to Taiwan by Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Group arrived in Taiwan in September this year. On September 22, Fubitai vaccine officially began inoculation in Taiwan.

Up to now, a total of 14 batches of approximately 12.4 million doses have been delivered. The 15th batch will arrive in Taiwan at the end of December. 930,000 doses will arrive in Taiwan. A total of 13.33 million doses will arrive on the island this year.

Ma Xiaoguang emphasized that the blood of compatriots on both sides of the strait is thicker than water.

We will continue to uphold the spirit of "benefiting Taiwan compatriots like serving the people on the mainland", assist the people on the island in responding to the epidemic, and earnestly safeguard the lives, health and well-being of compatriots on both sides of the strait.
