Author of a triumph in 2019 (victory on the four stages of the Tour), the 25-year-old Japanese already signs his 4th victory of the season.

Title holder and three-time winner of the prestigious ski jumping competition, Poland's Kamil Stoch missed out on qualifying for the second jump of the day, finishing only 41st.

The stage, which usually brings together thousands of spectators, took place behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The jumpers will then meet on January 1 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany), then on January 4 in Innsbruck and January 6 in Bischofshofen for the two Austrian stages of the Tour.
