The firefighters intervened around 2:30 am in Cambly for a vehicle fire in a garage, said the SDIS of Oise.

The deputy lodged a complaint and the Senlis prosecutor's office was seized, the investigation, for "destruction by dangerous means" having been entrusted to the Sernlis Research Brigade, Senlis prosecutor Jean-Baptiste told AFP. Bladier.

Mr. Bois told AFP that his personal car was partly charred by the fire in the garage, located in an outbuilding behind his home.

According to him, the fire was started by a "flaming tire which was thrown".

Inscriptions "Vote no" and "Ca va péter!"

were painted on the wall next to the garage, he added.

The Senlis prosecutor confirmed the "presence of tags that may suggest a motivation linked to hostility to the vaccine pass"

"The most shocking is to attack the personal home", while vandalism targeting elected officials "most of the time" parliamentary offices, noted Mr. Bois.

For the deputy, the content of the registrations refers to opponents of the health pass, who "are anticipating Monday's vote on the vaccine pass".

On November 19, Mr. Bois had received death threats in a letter containing a bullet, like several other deputies from the Oise.

"It was after the vote on the health pass," he recalls.

Mr. Bois also said he received a "rain of emails decrying attacks on freedoms" as part of the authorities' response to the Covid-19 epidemic.

He denounces "cowardice, non-respect for democracy" on the part of "those who always want to redo the game".
