In particular, Khinshtein proposed to provide for the possibility of depriving citizens of those who received it by birthright.

“Sometimes you listen to the revelations of our oppositionists and think: why do you need a Russian passport if you hate your country and your people?”

- wrote the deputy.

Earlier it was reported that Putin submitted to the State Duma a bill "On the citizenship of the Russian Federation."

According to the document, it is planned to transfer a number of powers to receive Russian citizenship to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
