Britain to allocate £ 105m to countries in need to fight the omicron

The foreign office noted that special attention will be paid to Africa.

The funds are expected to be spent on increasing the scale of testing and researching new strains of COVID-19.

Britain will also train expert emergency teams for deployment in crisis points overseas.
