"Defense Minister Beni Gantz met with the Chairman of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas to discuss a number of issues related to security and the civilian sphere," the press service of the Israeli military department quoted TASS as saying.
Gantz noted the parties' common interest in deepening security coordination and terrorism prevention.
