Two men had settled on a drug deal in advance.

They met in a parking garage in Luleå in November to complete the deal.

A masked additional person appeared on the scene.

The man who was to sell the drug then pulled out a knife-like object, held it to the buyer's neck and demanded the 9,000 kronor that was the price for the drug.

The masked person then helped the man wrestle down the buyer.

Wounds on the hands

The buyer suffered wounds to his hands after trying to defend himself from the attack.

The accused man denies the crime and says that he had a sharpened screwdriver with him in self-defense because "he knows that drug deals can go bad".

He then thought that the buyer had a gun, and said he did not know who the masked person was.

Two years in prison

As evidence, there are surveillance images from the parking garage that show that the man and the masked person performed the act and left the place together.

Luleå District Court now sentences the man to two years in prison for robbery, violation of the Firearms Act, violation of the law banning knives and three cases of drug offenses.
