Update the conditions for holding community events in Abu Dhabi

The Emergency and Crisis Management Committee in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi updated the conditions for holding community events in closed and open spaces, starting from December 27, 2021, in order to strengthen preventive and precautionary measures to preserve public health.

This modernization includes reducing the capacity during weddings, funerals and family events to a maximum of 60%, provided that the number of attendees does not exceed 50 people in indoor and indoor halls, 150 people in open spaces and 30 people for events held in homes.

The precautionary measures previously in place to attend community events continue to be applied by highlighting the case of “green passage” on the application of the fort and a negative result of the PCR nasal swab examination not exceeding 48 hours, taking into account the commitment to wearing a mask and social distancing measures.

The Committee for the Management of Emergencies, Crises and Disasters caused by the Corona pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will intensify inspection and control campaigns to ensure the extent of adherence to preventive and precautionary measures.
