At half past four on Sunday afternoon, the police received an alarm about a car driving hesitantly on the E22 in the direction of Ronneby.
When the police patrol locates the car, it chooses not to stop but continues towards Ronneby.
The police take up the chase and during the pursuit, the car collides with a police car, between Ronneby north and Ronneby east.
Further details about the accident are unclear.
- But it is the police car that is hit by the car in some way, says Patric Fors at the police command center.
Police to hospital - unclear injury situation
Two police officers are taken to hospital by ambulance, as is the driver of the car.
There is currently no information on the damage situation.
- We are actively working on the case with several patrols on the spot, we do not have a criminal classification yet.
But the place must be documented and witnesses heard, says Patric Fors.
Both cars will be salvaged.
The E22 around the accident site is closed and there is currently no forecast for when it will reopen.
