Analyst Stefets: Russia has the right to rebuff the West

The specialist emphasized that for the first time the world was so close to war since the Caribbean crisis of 1962.

According to him, the West has already exhausted all the possibilities to humiliate Russia and decided to go for broke.

“If you want to tease a (Russian -

) bear, first make sure you have somewhere to run,” Stefets said.

As stated by the analyst, "Russia no longer has a way out either from a political or military point of view, since the Western states managed to violate all possible diplomatic agreements and the Vienna accords, introduce senseless economic sanctions and accuse Moscow of violating human rights."

Earlier, the head of the Russian state, Vladimir Putin, said that Russia was "pinned" to the red lines on security issues.

He noted that the West has brought the Russian side to such a state that it is time for them to say: "Stop."

The Russian leader also stressed that Russia's response to NATO's eastward expansion may be "very different", the decision will depend on the proposals made by our military experts.
