Biden is insulted by a phone caller.. Watch the president's reaction! (Video)

An American caller insulted President Joe Biden on Friday when he called him "Come on, Brandon," a code phrase used by supporters of former President Donald Trump to insult the president, during a special Christmas event at the White House.

This incident took place during a video meeting between President Joe Biden and his wife Jill with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), which is tracking Santa Claus around the world according to an American tradition.

After the president was reassured about Santa Claus' activity, he began receiving phone calls from American families.

In a call with a father-of-four named Jared, Biden initially chatted briefly with his children about what gifts they would like to receive for Christmas, and the president also noted one denominator with Jared that they both had a son, Hunter.

At the end of the call, Biden wished Jared a happy birthday, and Jared replied, "I also wish you both a wonderful birthday, a happy birthday... and come on Ben, Brandon."

"Come on, Brandon," Biden replied, seemingly unresponsive. "I agree."

But some signs of astonishment appeared on the first lady's face at this moment, without it clear that the President had picked up on the meaning of Jared's phrase.

And Jared hung up while Biden asked him where he was calling from.

The video clip of the conversation spread widely and quickly on social media, with some praising the president's calm response.

And the phrase "Brandon" is a derogatory expression invented by Trump supporters to insult Biden, and it appeared when a broadcaster misunderstood the phrase "Damn Biden" during an interview with American racing champion Brandon Brown last September.

The phrase has since been used by Trump supporters as a political slogan.

Trump also sparked controversy on Christmas Eve when he raised suspicions about the presence of Santa in a phone call with a seven-year-old, asking him, "Do you still believe in Santa Claus?"

North American Aerospace Defense Command's tracking of Santa Claus dates back to 1955, when the headquarters' phone number was mistakenly placed in a newspaper ad in Colorado connecting children with Santa Claus, and it was bombarded with calls.

Caller: Have a Merry Christmas - let's go, Brandon (phrase used to insult Joe Biden)

Biden: I agree, come on, Brandon, and by the way, are you from Oregon?
