The lawyers of the managers of the company "SDS-Ugol" have appealed their arrest in the case of an emergency on "Listvyazhnaya"

As TASS clarifies, we are talking about lawyers of the chairman of the board of directors of SDS-Ugol Mikhail Fedyaev, general director of the company Gennady Alekseev, its technical director Anton Yakutov and chief engineer of the Listvyazhnaya mine Anatoly Lobanov.

“The defenders of Fedyaev, Lobanov, Yakutov, Alekseev filed appeals against their arrest,” the court said.

Earlier, Mikhail Fedyaev, the main owner of the Listvyazhnaya mine, chairman of the board of directors of SDS-Ugol, was arrested for a period until February 14.

An emergency at the mine happened on November 25, as a result of the accident 51 people died, 106 were injured.

On December 15, a court in Kemerovo imprisoned Gennady Alekseev, general director of SDS-Ugol, until January 25, in connection with an emergency at a mine.

During a meeting on the coal industry, Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the SDS-Ugol board of directors for failing to comply with safety conditions at the company's Listvyazhnaya mine in Kuzbass.
