The Executive Director of Health Regulation at the Dubai Health Authority, Marwan Al Mulla, stated that the authority has developed an innovative mechanism to discover, monitor and respond to violations, based on six main axes, pointing out that the authority has carried out 7,601 inspection tours, including health facilities and health workers in the emirate, since At the beginning of this year, 2520 violations were issued.

In detail, Al Mulla told "Emirates Today" that the authority applies the smart inspection system to individuals and health facilities in the emirate, with the aim of strengthening its oversight role and ensuring the provision of high-quality health services in the public and private sectors in Dubai, pointing out that the authority was keen to provide all its inspectors. With modern devices connected electronically with the licensing system that it has “Sheryan”, so that the health inspector can immediately identify the health facility’s status, type, classification, licensing and tasks, extract information related to the facility, and the extent of its application of the conditions and standards of licenses approved by the authority.

He pointed out that violations are usually monitored during periodic and sudden inspection visits, in addition to complaints received by the authority from dealers.

Al Mulla added that the authority has developed an innovative mechanism to discover, monitor and respond to violations, based on six main axes, including the “Weyak” initiative, which includes field visits to spread awareness of regulations, legislation, federal and local laws and regulations for practicing medical professions, and the second axis is to facilitate the self-verification tool. health facilities, which would enhance the spirit of self-monitoring of health facilities.

He added that the third axis is the use of the smart inspection program, which is based on data related to health facilities and individuals through the (Sharyan) system, while the fourth axis includes holding joint visits and periodic meetings with strategic partners, and the fifth axis is to involve the health sector in following up performance indicators Which measures the level of services, while the sixth axis includes the implementation of random random visits to all health facilities, at least twice during the year.

The Dubai Health Authority reported that it subjected a large number of health facilities to audit and licensing, through the smart "Rased" system, from a distance, explaining that "Rased" helps to shorten 100 minutes per request, and allow more time to raise the number of facilities and requests that are made. The new inspection system is based on devices, and smart visual solutions for communication between the Authority's employee and the concerned persons in the health facility, to provide the required service or conduct an inspection of the facility.
