“On December 22, the first validation series Sputnik V and Sputnik Light were released at the Belarusian enterprise,” the Ministry of Health of the republic said in a statement.

On December 23, the vaccines will be sent to the Russian Gamaleya Institute for quality control checks.

It is planned to study the stability of the preparation during storage on these samples.

Earlier, a study of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine in Belarus showed the effectiveness of the drug at the level of 96.3%.

The analysis was carried out on the basis of a complete course of vaccination of 1.2 million people.
