22 December 2021 Two landings, with a total of 121 migrants, were registered in Lampedusa, in the province of Agrigento. 



Offshore Lampedusa, the small boats were rescued by the patrol boats of the Harbor Master's Office and the Guardia di Finanza. All were taken to the hotspot in the Imbriacola district.



The landings


58 Syrian, Palestinian, Egyptian and Algerian migrants were traveling on the first cart of the sea, an 8-meter boat with outboard motor, intercepted by the men of the Port Authority 5 miles from the island. Among them also 3 women and 4 minors. All were transhipped and the boat left adrift.



For the second landing, however, a patrol boat of the Guardia di Finanza arrived at the Favaloro pier with 63 people on board, including 7 minors - of Egyptian nationality and 1 of Moroccan nationality -, tracked down in the afternoon about twenty miles from the largest. of the Pelagie.

For them too, as for the 25 who arrived last night, after a first health triage, the transfer to the hotspot in the Imbriacola district was arranged, where they were subjected to a swab for the diagnosis of Covid-19. 



Yesterday 50 people arrived on the largest of the Pelagie with two different landings, including 24 women and 8 minors.
