- The New Year's walk is extremely appreciated by the people of Norrköping, it is a popular tradition that attracts many visitors every year.
Our hope was to be able to carry out the New Year's walk traditionally this year, but due to the increased spread of infection, we need a different approach and choose to carry out the event in a slightly different form for the second year in a row, says event coordinator Carita Nord Isgren in a press release.
Instead, the New Year's speech will be carried out digitally and those who are keen on walking will be referred to the ongoing Norrköping light festival.
