She said: "The registration mechanism in the system is represented by the competent retirement agency, in coordination with the retirement agency in the country where the worker is located, to register employees and follow up on the collection of monthly contributions in accordance with the insurance system established in their countries, so that their contributions are paid not exceeding the employer's share determined in the country where the work is located, adding that The responsibility for transferring these contributions lies with the employer, who must transfer them monthly through the bank account designated for the retirement system in the state where the work is located.

Al-Sahlawi urged Gulf citizens working in the state to ensure that employers subject to the system register and pay contributions on their behalf to the civil retirement and social security agencies in their countries, noting the importance of paying their contributions on actual wages, and committing to paying them on time so that this contributes to maintaining ease of procedures. relating to the payment of entitlements at the end of the insured's service.

Al-Sahlawi said that the contributions rates for the insured covered by this system differ from one country to another. 5. 12%, while the state contributes by bearing 5.2% of this value to support and encourage Emiratisation policies and programs in the private sector, and accordingly any Gulf citizen working in the state will bear the differences in these contributions according to the retirement law to which he is subject in his home, if any, which is measured On the rest of the cases for the rest of the countries.

Payment of end of service benefits

Hanan Al-Sahlawi called for the importance of employers’ commitment to pay the end-of-service gratuity for Gulf nationals working for them in accordance with the civil service regulations or applicable labor laws in their regard for the periods prior to the application of the protection extension system, as this system does not prejudice any other rights or benefits that are established in accordance with the regulations that are bound by It was submitted by employers with their workers before the issuance of this decision, noting that the protection extension system grants those covered by its provisions the possibility of adding service periods prior to the date of application of this system with the current employer, and their previous service periods in their countries may be combined in accordance with the conditions for adding service periods in the devices their retirement.
