The Beijing Olympics will be the first winter Olympics in China and will be held from February 4th next year in the capital, Beijing, and in the neighboring Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province.



With the opening of the tournament approaching one and a half months, the Chinese government announced on the 21st the preparation status of the new ski competition venue in Zhangjiakou to overseas media.



Of these, at the venue of the jumping competition, the person in charge stated that "all measures have been formulated and disseminated, and necessary supplies have been prepared" regarding infection control measures for the new coronavirus, and then outside with athletes and competition staff. He emphasized the idea of ​​thoroughly implementing so-called "bubble method" measures to block contact with.

In addition, the person in charge at the cross-country venue explained that the artificial snow on the course has less impact on the environment because it uses rainwater efficiently.
