The man, who is in his 40s, was last convicted in July last year of assault, aggravated unlawful threats, unlawful threats and assault in court.
In the judgment, Kalmar District Court writes that he appears under 38 sections in the debit register.
During questioning of previous convictions, the man has said that he drinks hand alcohol and when he does, everything turns black.
He used to use amphetamines but now alcohol is his main drug.
The penalty for the previous sentence was imprisonment for four months.
He has been sentenced to prison several times before.
