According to the diplomatic mission, on December 15, the emergency telephone of the consular section of the Russian Embassy in Cambodia received information about the possible abduction of a Russian woman Anastasia Shereredko.
“After receiving additional information regarding the Russian woman, information about the incident was immediately reported by an employee of the consular department ... to the kingdom's law enforcement agencies, which are currently conducting appropriate operational-search measures in relation to the compatriot,” RIA Novosti quotes the embassy's statement.
The embassy stressed that they are constantly in contact with the police on the issue of finding a Russian citizen.
Earlier, in the garden of a holiday home in Cyprus, the bodies of two Russian tourists were found, who went missing on November 17.
