Fillon-Maillet (29) scored his second success of the season, the eighth of his career, beating the Russian Eduard Latypov and the Norwegian Vetle Christiansen.

Starting in fourth position 21 seconds from the lead, the Frenchman was able to count on his shooting skills (20/20) to win and go pick the yellow jersey of the World Cup leader, so far on the shoulders from Sweden's Sebastian Samuelsson, who finished 11th.

However, the disappointment is immense for Emilien Jacquelin, who was 2nd in the general classification just 3 points behind Samuelsson before the race.

The Grenoblois squandered all his chances by committing five errors during his two standing shots and finished only 9th.
