Awakening traumatic for the occupants of three hotels in Bordeaux, held up in the night from Wednesday to Thursday by hooded men.

The trio who masqueraded as a team of security guards woke them all from their sleep and threatened them with a weapon to rob them.

The three attacks followed the "same operating mode" according to the Bordeaux prosecutor's office, which opened an investigation for "thefts and attempted theft with a weapon".

The robbers, who were driving around concealing their faces, targeted three cheap hotels in the Bordeaux suburbs, the first in Lormont, the other two in Eysines.

Butt shots to the face

In Lormont, they banged on the door of a first bedroom.

When the customer opened, they punched him in the face, fired a gun, then grabbed his bank card and phone.

In the first hotel in Eysines, the door on which the pseudo-security guards knocked was that of an employee who was resting.

They hit her in turn, again, with butts and left with her handbag.

In the last hotel attacked, the robbers woke up their third victim on the pretext "that a drinks machine had been damaged".

They pointed their guns at the client and shot the ceiling again.

But the criminals left empty-handed this time.
