According to him, the court decided that this was done on behalf of the Russian state.

Earlier, the Supreme Court of Berlin sentenced Russian Vadim Sokolov to life imprisonment in the case of the murder of Georgian citizen Zelimkhan Khangoshvili in the German capital in 2019.

After that, the Russian ambassador to Germany, Sergei Nechaev, was summoned to the German Foreign Ministry.

He said that two employees of the Russian Embassy in Germany are being declared persona non grata.
