Amazon Prime Video subscribers can now freely access the nearly 10,000 "cult programs" of French audiovisual heritage offered by madelen, a video platform created by INA in 2020.

"We are proud to be able (...) to allow our subscribers to discover historical programs which are an integral part of the French audiovisual heritage," said Jacobo Jover, France director of Amazon Prime Video Channels, in the press release.

Many programs, documentaries, series, or even films by great directors such as Truffaut, Chabrol or Varda, are part of the programs offered.

By partnering with "one of the world's leading streaming platforms" as the end of the year holidays approach, the National Audiovisual Institute hopes to attract "new audiences" with "an original alternative to existing market services, "he explains.

The INA also says it is in discussion with other video-on-demand service platforms in order to broaden the dissemination of its offer.
