The Austrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai explores questions related to the future of the world and tries to answer them during a program that seeks to provide new forms of knowledge.

The pavilion is preparing to host an art exhibition and a webinar, looking at three basic areas of life under the title: "The future of work, life and education", in cooperation with the "GRISB" network, which is based on research, communication and interest in continuous change.

The program, which focuses on the "Expo 2020 Dubai" character of creating opportunities, includes two interrelated events: the first is an art exhibition entitled "Practices of Suspicion", hosted by the Austrian pavilion at the "Expo Dubai" from today until the sixth of next January.

The pavilion will also organize a webinar addressing issues of the future of work, life and education, from January 11 to 27, over three sessions.

The program aims to present a futuristic vision of life in the coming years, and the new opportunities resulting from the expected changes.

For her part, Commissioner-General of the Austrian Pavilion, Beatrix Karl, said: “We are very excited to showcase what Austrian artists and change-makers are bringing to the global platform offered by (Expo 2020 Dubai), as the entire program focuses on the rapid transformations we are witnessing in several key areas, which will contribute Certainly, change will bring new opportunities that will leave a clear imprint on all areas of life.”

The art gallery brings together different perspectives on work, exploitation, science and belonging, and is embraced by Austrian artists.

In line with the concept of the Austrian Pavilion at Expo 2020 and the slogan “Austria Awakens the Senses”, the exhibition's focus is on works that deal with topics in a sensory and emotional way.

The exhibits range from artist Ernst Lugar to his own scientific and artistic view of post-petroleum societies.

As for the "Azenkrum studio", based in the city of Graz, through its large, meticulously designed drawings, it offers a view of the economic cycles and the context of exploitation.

In their contributions, artists Michikazu Matzoni and Abiona Esther Ojo explore global transport themes, border systems, and issues of cultural belonging in Austria.

The art fair will be supported by an accompanying webinar moderated by Finnish artist, Anya Buntari, who seeks answers to complex but important questions, such as what kind of opportunities the future will bring, and the changing ways of thinking, doing, educating, and innovating companies need to compete in a world It is characterized by change and new skills required to maintain relevance to reality.

The symposium will be artistic in nature, as discussions and interactive sessions called “knowledge gatherings” draw their inspiration from the contemporary art world.

Symposium speakers from all over the world will share their views on what will happen in the future.

The most important issue in this program remains the answer to the question: "How can humanity face the challenges that the future brings... and even take advantage of them and turn them into opportunities."
