In Östergötland's museum's magazine, there are a total of over 60,000 different objects.
Several of them in fabric and wood - materials that several pests like.
But so far, there are only long-stemmed silverfish in the room - something that is fought with traps.
- There is glue and a lure in the powder.
Then they get stuck in it, says Joanna Thompson.
A few years ago, moths also entered the premises.
- We also have moth traps to make sure they do not come back, she says.
Löfstad Castle was affected
Löfstad Castle, which is run by Östergötland's museum, was hit by wooden rodents a few years ago.
- If they run freely, they can be quite big risks with the construction, says Joanna Thompson.
