Kuwait opens the door for women to volunteer in the army

Today, Wednesday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced the opening of the registration door for the female component to volunteer to join the honor of military service (non-commissioned officers and individuals) as of December 19, for holders of university degrees, diplomas, and certificates of grades 12, 11 and below.

The ministry said in a statement issued by the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army that the registration process will be available on its website until January 2, next year.

She stated that the required majors for university degree and diploma holders are (communication), (management), (networking), (electronics), (printing), (data entry), (computer network security), (electrical engineering) and (mechanical engineering). And (Electronics Engineering), (Cold Welding), (Mechatronics Engineering), (Law), (Security Inspector) and (Physical Education).

According to the statement, the applicant for volunteering must be of Kuwaiti nationality and must have completed 18 years of age and not exceed 26 years, with the exception of technicians and professionals from the upper limit. By a criminal penalty or a crime against honor or trust, unless she has been rehabilitated.

It is also required for the applicant to volunteer to finish her work in the entity in which she works in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, and that the educational certificate obtained must be approved and certified by the official authorities in the State of Kuwait.
