US Supports EU Sanctions Against Wagner Group

The corresponding statement by Blinken was published on the website of the US State Department.

"The United States welcomes the actions of the European Union, which has imposed sanctions on the Russian-backed Wagner Group and persons associated with it," the text says. 

Earlier, the European Union decided to impose sanctions on persons who, according to the EU, are associated with the activities of the so-called Wagner group.
