After several alarms about the working environment at Blekinge Hospital in Karlskrona Kommunal's safety representative at the end of September to make five so-called 6: 6a reports regarding the working environment.

In response, the hospital management and those responsible for the departments concerned produced a number of measures - but these were rejected by the trade union - which chose to take the matter further to the Swedish Work Environment Authority.

SVT was also able to report last week that Kommunal is planning for another four 6: 6a reports, as it is considered that the measures that the management produced have not been followed.

"Thought it was sunny"

At the same time, the Swedish Work Environment Authority has now decided to reject four of the notifications.

- Of course we knew that risk existed.

But we thought it was clear that they would take it, says Andreas Ludvigsson, section representative for Kommunal.

The reason is that the authority considers that the employer has taken, or plans to take, a large number of measures in both the short and long term.

Furthermore, the authority describes Kommunal's request as "somewhat unclear", and says that it is not clear which measures the union is dissatisfied with.

- We need to sit down and look at what we can specify, and probably appeal the decision, says Andreas Ludvigsson.
