Since the launch of the vaccine campaign for the third anti-Covid dose, appointments have increased on the Doctolib platform.

In order to cope with the strong demand, several vaccination centers are reopening their doors in Loire-Atlantique.

In the department, three centers have already resumed their activity a few days ago: Saint-Herblain, Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu and Châteaubriant, which moved to the Halle de Béré on December 7.

Four other reopening of vaccination centers are planned.

First in Vertou, south of the Nantes metropolis, where the reopening is scheduled for Tuesday.

In Pontchâteau, the vaccination center is back in service this Wednesday, December 15.

Then will follow that of La Baule, on December 16.

Finally, the large-capacity Nantes-Beaujoire center will resume service from December 17 at the exhibition center, moving from the center of the Nantes Erdre room.

At the same time, seven other vaccination centers have never ceased their activity and remain open to individuals upon prior registration: Rezé (Loire - Sèvre health center), Saint-Nazaire, Ancenis, Pornic, Machecoul, Nort-sur-Erdre and Vallet.

A large screening center

In order to support the sharp increase in requests for PCR tests, the city of Nantes has also decided to set up a screening center within the Léo-Lagrange gymnasium, Gloriette island district.

This site will be managed in collaboration with the Bioliance laboratory, which will take care of the medical part and the transmission of results.

The opening is scheduled for Wednesday 14 December.

The practical details of accessing the center will not be revealed until Tuesday afternoon.
