In order to facilitate procedures such as quarantine and immigration when entering Japan from overseas, the Digital Agency has developed a web service such as a smartphone that allows you to perform all procedures online, and will start operation next week. I did.

Developed by the Digital Agency, this service requires foreigners entering Japan to pre-register information such as their passports and their health status online.

If you register, the QR code will be displayed on your smartphone, etc., and you can complete the procedure by holding it over the terminal installed at the airport for quarantine, immigration, and customs declaration.

The service will start operating in Japanese and English from the 20th next week, and will be introduced at six airports including Narita Airport, Haneda Airport, and Kansai Airport.

The Digital Agency says, "In addition to facilitating procedures that are said to take too long, we would like to reduce the risk of infection with the new corona by exchanging documents."

The Digital Agency is also considering increasing the number of languages that can be used in the future.
