In the country as a whole, the number of admissions has fallen by almost four percent.
But 15 higher education institutions, including Linköping University, have received more students compared to last spring.
- In total, LiU has admitted about 70 more students to educational programs by spring 2022 compared with the year before in selection 1. Since the percentage increase (6.2 percent) is compared with the previous year, the figures for LiU are a bit "false high" because admission to two programs were not made for the spring semester 2021. But even without these two educations, admission has increased by about 30 students, where the sociology program accounts for the largest increase, says LiU's education councilor Ragnhild Löfgren on the university's website.
Those who have been offered a place must respond no later than 17 December.
