A 55-year-old nurse and a 34-year-old National Education employee will be tried before the Criminal Court of Béziers (Hérault) on February 28: the first is suspected of having tried to provide the second with a certificate of vaccination against Covid-19, despite the absence of a real vaccination, indicates the prosecutor, Raphaël Balland.

The nurse, who worked at the Béziers vaccination center, is accused of having pretended to administer a dose of vaccine to him on June 23, allowing him to obtain a certificate of the first vaccination.

At the second meeting, on August 3, "the intervention of a manager (...) had prevented the plot from succeeding following an anonymous call to the vaccination center warning that the man was bragging about it. near his entourage ”, indicates the prosecutor.

They recognized the facts

They were taken into custody on December 6, and admitted the facts, the prosecutor said.

"The man said he did not have confidence in the anti-Covid-19 vaccination but that he needed a health pass as part of his musical activities," he continues.

The nurse explained that she had acted in this way with regard to this one patient, whom she knew from elsewhere, in order to be of service to him.

"

Under judicial supervision, the man is being prosecuted for fraud and the nurse for complicity in fraud.

The nurse, who has not worked at the Béziers vaccination center since September, is also banned from exercising her profession.
